Twenty-six acres of gardens, woodland, and pasture provide all the privacy and beauty necessary for a romantic escape. The Inn borders the Rocky River, with a large and beautiful stand of native Mountain Laurel. A walking trail leads to the river, deer are seen grazing in the pasture, and the gardens are often a site for marriage proposals and weddings. Four rooms, each elegant and inviting, some with a Jacuzzi, are ideal for any couple. Host and accomplished chef, David, serves a divinely scrumptious breakfast of pumpkin basil pancakes, cheddar and sun-dried tomato souffle, Dave's version of huevos rancheros, fresh juices, and fresh-baked pastries.

A community gathering place for over a century, Celebrity Dairy now extends its warm welcome and informal comfort to guests year-round. Share our homemade pleasures: a book or game from the library, watching free range chickens scratching in the yard, or deer grazing at dusk. Wake refreshed to join the farm crew for a breakfast of (naturally) chèvre accompanying omelets or home-baked pastry, and seasonal fruits and preserves from our neighbor's gardens. Just a few steps from the Inn you'll find the "Goat Hilton" - home to the Celebrity Goat Dairy herd of 100 Alpine and Saanen goats. Here is the heart of our low impact, sustainable agriculture farm - scene of spring kidding, twice daily milking, and the production of award-winning farmstead goat cheese.
	BelleHavre Bed and Breakfast Gulf, North Carolina Phone: 919.898.4846 BelleHavre is conveniently snuggled between Raleigh and Pinehurst, NC at the Haughton-McIver House, in Chatham County. Built in 1842, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. BelleHavre offers romantic, Antebellum and historical Civil War era luxury accommodations and entertaining on spacious grounds, with verandas overlooking beautiful gardens. The magnificently restored Greek Revival, Queen Anne architecture historically depicts the elegance of 1840 South. The home retains much of the original woodwork, doors, and fireplaces including the 10-foot hand-made french doors joining the dining room and parlor. 	Rosemary House Bed and Breakfast Pittsboro, North Carolina Phone: 888.643.2017 In 1912, Logan Womble, a local Pittsboro businessman, built an impressive Colonial Revival house at 76 West Street. In February 2000, the innkeepers, Mac and Karen Pullen, bought the house from the Poole estate and have extensively renovated it. Rosemary House Bed and Breakfast is named for the herb rosemary, traditionally held to be the herb of friendship and remembrance. There are plenty of quiet private spaces inside and outside. Our big front porch is shaded in the summer by gigantic sugar maples. The back porch is perfect for watching the birds at the feeder. Just outside the back porch is an herb and perennial garden where we've planted 150 daylilies from Oxford Gardens.

The Piedmont T-style farmhouse and former home of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paul Green is nestled on 25 acres among the towering oaks for which it is named. This country retreat dates back to 1890 and reopened in 2001 after impressive renovations.
